AI Sound Effect Generator from Text — NetRoom
CAPABILITY

AI sound effects from a text description

Describe the sound you need in words and get a separate audio file: footsteps on gravel, a door creak, an interface chime, rain outside a window. The tool is built for anyone who needs one specific effect for a shot, a scene or an action in an app rather than a music track.

How it works

  1. Describe the sound

Plain text, up to 2,048 characters. It helps to name the source, the material and the space: not "a hit" but "a hammer striking a sheet of metal in an empty hangar".

  2. Tune the sound

Three controls: volume from -50 to 100, tempo from -50 to 100 and pitch from -12 to +12. The file format is set in the same place — MP3, WAV, FLAC or OGG.

  3. Start the run

The cost is shown before you start; for effects it is an estimate, and the exact amount is fixed once the file is ready. Task status is visible on the card. If your balance is too low, the request is not sent and the service shows the missing amount right away.

  4. Collect the file

The finished sound plays in the built-in player and downloads with one button. The recording stays in the section history, where you can replay it, repeat it with the same settings or delete it.

What people use it for

A sound for one specific shot

Footsteps on gravel, a door creak, a hit on metal. Describe what happens on screen and get a separate file for your own track.

Atmosphere and ambience

Rain on a tin roof, the hum of an empty hall, traffic outside a window. Tempo and pitch can be nudged before the run.

Interface sounds

A click, a confirmation, an error, a notification. For an app it is handy to take the result as WAV rather than compressed MP3.

Game audio

Picking up an item, a hit landing, a chest opening. Shifting volume and pitch gives you several variations of one action without rewriting the description from scratch.

Frequently asked questions

What does one effect cost?

The amount is shown before the run. For effects it is an estimate: the exact cost is fixed once the file is ready. Current rates are on the pricing page. The charge is taken for a successful run — if the task ends in an error, the money stays on your balance.

Which sound parameters can I adjust?

Three controls before the run: volume from -50 to 100, tempo from -50 to 100 and pitch from -12 to +12. The file format is chosen in the same place. The duration of the finished file is shown on the result card.

What format does the file come in?

MP3 by default. Before the run you can choose WAV, FLAC or OGG — WAV, for instance, if the sound is heading into an editor or a game engine.

What do I do with the file afterwards?

It plays in the built-in player and downloads with one button, then goes into your editing software or your game engine.

What if the result is not right?

Run it again. From the history you can repeat the request with the same settings, or adjust the description and the controls: shift pitch and volume to build a variation of the same action without rewriting the description from scratch.

Where do I find what I generated?

In the Sound section history: player, download, repeat and delete are all there. The section has its own history, separate from the account's general file gallery. The same section holds two more tools — text to speech and music generation.
