Multiple AI models in one chat

One chat holds dozens of models, and the model is chosen per message rather than per conversation: put one question to one model and the next to another without starting over. The same request can go to several models at once so you can see how the answers differ. If you would rather not choose, Auto mode does it for you.

1
chat for every model
25
messages of context
4
reasoning settings

How it works

  1. Pick a model, or let Auto pick

The model is set in the input field and applies to that one message, not to the whole chat. When it is not obvious what to use, choose Auto: it picks a suitable model from the wording of your request and shows you in the chat which model it went to and why.

  2. Write the request and attach files

Plain text, no special syntax. You can attach images and documents to a message: PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, TXT, MD, CSV, JSON.

  3. Turn on the modes the task needs

Reasoning has four settings: off, low, medium, high. Web search is a toggle that adds fresh results from the web to the request. Both work in the same message and stay on until you switch them off.

  4. Read the answer and compare

Text streams in as it is generated. Every answer carries the name of the model that wrote it, and the label is still there when you come back to the chat later. In multi-select one question goes to several models at once, and a cost estimate for each is visible before you send.

What it does

Input
Message text, with optional file attachments
Attachment formats
Images, PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, TXT, MD, CSV, JSON, with a limit on the number and total size of files in one message
Model selection
Set per message; models can be alternated within one chat
Multi-select
One question goes to several models and each replies with its own message; replies come in the order you picked the models
Auto routing
Auto mode picks the model from the wording of each request anew, and the chat shows where the request went
Reasoning mode
Four settings: off, low, medium, high. The reasoning trace sits in a separate collapsible block above the answer
Web search
A toggle in the input field; up to two web results are added to the request; combines with reasoning and attachments
Conversation context
Up to the last 25 messages of the thread, including replies from other models
Billing
Per answer, per model, at that model's price; Auto routing itself is not billed

What people use it for

Compare answers to the same question

Pick several models and ask once: each replies with its own message in the same chat, with the model name above the answer. Useful when what matters is not the first opinion but how far the answers diverge.

Switch models mid-task

Start with a fast model, hit a hard section, and move to another one on the very next message. Nothing needs re-explaining: the next model sees the earlier messages in the thread.

Send a request without choosing a model

Auto mode: write the task in plain words, and a suitable model is picked for you, with the chat showing where the request went and why.

Work through a task with current data

Reasoning and web search can be on in the same message: the model lays out its reasoning first, and fresh results from the web are added to the request.

What else it does

The things people usually discover only once they start working.

  • There is no cap on how many models you can pick in multi-select; each answer is billed at its own model's price.
  • Any answer can be regenerated with the same model.
  • The reasoning trace is shown by models that support it; they carry a Reasoning badge in the model list.
  • Auto chooses among text models and models that generate images.

Frequently asked questions

Can I switch models without losing the conversation?

Yes. The model is set per message, not for the whole chat, so the next question can go to a different model in the same thread. It sees the earlier messages, including replies from other models: up to the last 25 go into context.

How do I compare answers from several AI models to one prompt?

Turn on multi-select and tick the models you want. The question goes to all of them at once, each replies with its own message in the same chat, and the model name and icon sit above the answer. The replies arrive one after another, in the order you picked the models.

What does it cost when several models answer?

Each answer is billed at the price of the model that produced it. In multi-select the estimate for every selected model is visible before you send, so the total is clear in advance. There is no cap on how many models one question goes to, and each of them is charged for separately.

What if I do not know which model to choose?

Pick Auto in the model list and write the task in plain words. A suitable model is chosen from the wording of your request, and the chat shows where it was sent and why. Routing runs again on every message, and you are charged at the price of the model that answered; the routing step itself is not billed.

What does reasoning mode give me?

The model lays out its line of reasoning in a separate collapsible block first, then gives the answer. There are four settings: off, low, medium and high; the higher the level, the more detailed the reasoning and the more the answer costs, since it is extra generated text. It helps on tasks where the sequence of steps matters more than the wording.

How do I get an answer based on current information?

Switch on the web search toggle in the input field: results from the web are added to the request and a "Web search" step appears above the answer. There is no separate charge for it, it is available on paid models, and it combines with reasoning and attachments. Source links appear in the answer wherever the model cites them.
