The Student plan: 426 AI answers and 49 images every month

The short version

NetRoom now has a Student plan — a single monthly subscription built around coursework. It includes 426 AI answers and 49 image generations per month, source search with citations, and a small allowance of flagship models. No status check is required: anyone can subscribe, the plan is simply shaped around study workloads.

Why coursework needs its own plan

Student workloads are not flat. Three quiet weeks, then a deadline week where five topics have to be understood, an essay written, sources found and a deck assembled — all at once. A tool for that rhythm has to be cheap when idle and generous at the peak.

Hence the shape of the plan: a large pool of fast, inexpensive calls for routine work, a solid reserve of stronger models for text that a professor will actually read, and a small flagship quota for the one hard chapter — without paying flagship rates all month.

Three problems it solves

1. One plan instead of three

The usual study stack is a chat model for writing, a separate service for finding sources, and an image generator for slides. That is three subscriptions and three charges every month, and in each of them half the feature set is irrelevant to a student. The Student plan covers all three jobs in one account with one bill.

2. Flagship models without a flagship bill

Most coursework does not need a frontier model. Summarising a chapter, drafting an outline or rephrasing a paragraph runs perfectly well on fast, cheap models. But once or twice a week something genuinely hard shows up. The plan splits the budget accordingly — cheap capacity for the routine, a reserved flagship quota for the hard part.

3. A predictable monthly number

By default NetRoom is metered: you pay for what you actually generate and unused balance does not expire. That is honest, but it means keeping an eye on spend. A subscription removes the question — a fixed monthly figure and limits you know up front. What is included

Text — 426 answers per month, split across three tiers so the expensive models are not burned on routine work.

• 300 fast answers, up to 15 per day — Grok 4 Fast and DeepSeek V4 Pro. Everyday work: summarise a section, sketch an outline, explain a term, sanity-check a solution, rewrite a paragraph.
• 120 answers on stronger models, up to 6 per day — GPT-5.6 Luna, Claude Haiku 4.5, Gemini 3.6 Flash, Gemini 3 Flash, Gemini 3.5 Flash Lite, Kimi K2.6 and Perplexity. This is where connected prose gets written and papers get analysed. Perplexity answers with citations, so sources can be verified and dropped straight into a bibliography.
• 6 flagship calls, one per day — GPT-5.6 Sol, Claude Opus 5 and Claude Sonnet 5. The reserve for a proof, a heavy piece of code, or the chapter you want to get right in one pass.

Images — 49 generations per month. Thirty on GPT-5 Image Mini (up to three a day), fifteen on GPT-5.4 Image 2 (up to two a day) and four on Nano Banana 2 (one a day). Enough for a deck cover, diagrams for each section, slide illustrations and a title-page visual.

Is that enough for a term

A rough calibration: working through one topic with notes is typically a few dozen calls. An essay from outline to proofread is also dozens, not hundreds. A twelve-slide deck takes eight to twelve images. At that rate the monthly package covers two or three substantial pieces of work plus daily odds and ends, with the flagship quota still free for the hardest part.

The daily caps work in your favour here — they stop the whole month being spent in one pre-deadline evening. And if the package does run out, generation does not stop: it simply continues from your balance at standard rates.

What else NetRoom does

The plan is part of the platform, not a separate product. One account and one balance give you:

• Text and research. Over sixty models in the catalog — GPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, Qwen, Kimi, Grok. Switch model mid-conversation; chat history is kept.
• Image generation. From fast, economical models to ones that render legible text inside the image, which matters for diagrams and posters.
• Video. Clips from a prompt or from a still frame; several models produce video with audio built in.
• Photo editing. Upscaling, retouching and outpainting, for when a usable image has to come out of a poor original.
• Assistants. Preconfigured roles for specific jobs, so you are not rebuilding a prompt from scratch every time.
• Free models. GPT-5.4 Nano, Gemini 3.1 Flash Lite, DeepSeek V4 Flash and Qwen 3.6 Flash are free with no subscription — you can try the platform without paying anything.

Video and models outside the plan are metered from your balance. The subscription does not cover them, but does not get in the way either: you can top up at any time and the balance does not expire.
